| Up for sale is a 1978 Jeep CJ5...I've done a TON
to this Jeep:
-New paint job
-Full roll cage bolted to the frame
-high back leon rosser seats
-herculined interior
-4 inch suspension lift
-heavy duty shackles
-oversized gas tank
-heavy duty rear bumper with rings
-stainless hinges
-wide track Scrambler axles
-brand new 15" wheels
-brand new 33x13.50x15 Super Swamper tires
(literally less than 300 miles on tires)
-New bestop softtop
Jeep has a 304 V8 motor, 3sp manual transmission.
Things the jeep needs:
gas guage doesn't work
wipers don't work
needs a manual choke to start when cold...used to
have one but I removed it when doing some work on
it and never re-installed
Jeep sputters a little when mashing accelerator to
the floor...sputters and hesitates slightly then
catches and takes off...does not do this when
accelerating slowly
will need a new battery...I'll put the battery
from my Wrangler in for test driving and showing
purposes...but will need my battery back so I can
drive my daily driver!
Will accept cash of course...but am also open to
trades. I'm looking for a 1995-1998 Chevy or GMC
full size silverado truck...must be extended cab,
must be 4wd...must be in very nice condition.
